At Linux Tech Networks, the term "Fully Managed" means just that. We believe that you, the customer should have full root access to your own server and the administration should be handled by us. As such, we do the following for all managed server clients, providing your package includes it.
- Weekly Vulnerability Scans (showing soon)
Your server will be scanned weekly and the latest report will (soon) be shown in your client area. - Process Checking(soon)
Our daemon will be up and running by the end of 2006 which will check your server for critical processes, make sure they're running, and restart them if not. These processes include syslog, cron and many more system based processes. - Log Monitoring
Your logs are sent to us for maintainance and investigation on a daily basis through our custom logging program - Software Updates
ALL pertinent software is updated on your server as it is necessary. Many of these pieces of software will break various scripts, so for php/apache/mysql updates, we request that you open a Helpdesk Ticket with a request to schedule a time to do so. This will be done within 24 hours with as little downtime to your clients as possible - Firewall Maintainance
Your firewall can easily be maintained and updated inside of the Client Area, where you will be able to see if an ip is blocked, WHY it was blocked, and remove it from being blocked if necessary. - System Maintainance/issues
We handle your OS/Control Panel/System issues. Should you need assistance with these, you are encouraged to open up a Helpdesk Ticket with a description of the problem, and we will investigate and resolve as quickly as possible. - Network Assistance
Got a problem accessing the network? We'll help you out as much as physically possible. We do everything we can to debug your issue for you.
